GRADUATION PRIZES

The Executive Council of the South African Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SASBMB) has resolved to promote the discipline of Biochemistry across South Africa by recognising the top third-year student majoring in Biochemistry at each university offering this degree.

The award includes a certificate highlighting the recipient’s outstanding achievement and complimentary SASBMB membership for the duration of the recipient’s postgraduate studies. 

We congratulate the students below for their excellent academic performance in their Biochemistry studies.

Mzomuhle Khawula received the SASBMB graduation award as the Best Third Year Biochemistry student at UKZN. We are extremely proud of Mzo and we know he is destined for more accolades!
